    2. 2

      Pick the chores

Choose chores with fun picture icons, or add your own. Set how many stars each one is worth per day, pick the days of the week, and choose your chart colour.

Preview the chart live, then click Print / Save as PDF. Print it on A4 at home or save a PDF to print later. Stick it on the fridge and start earning stars.

    Chore chart FAQs

    Is Chore Star free?

Yes. Chore Star is completely free to use, with no sign-up and no account needed. You can make and print as many chore charts as you like.

How do I make a chore chart for my child?

Enter your child's name, tick the chores you want from the list (or add your own), set how many stars each is worth per day, choose a colour and add a reward goal. Then click Print / Save as PDF.

Can I print the chore chart or save it as a PDF?

Yes. Click the Print / Save as PDF button and choose "Save as PDF" in your browser's print dialog, or print straight to paper. The chart is sized for A4.

What age is a chore chart good for?

Chore charts work well for children roughly aged 3 to 12. Younger children respond to the picture icons, while older ones can aim for bigger star goals and rewards.

    Is my child's information private?

Yes. Everything you type — your child's name, chores and rewards — stays in your browser and is never sent to a server. We use cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies and no personal data) to count visits, but your child's details never leave your device.
